Outside, in Anne’s Garden, St. Luke’s Church, Gladstone, NJ

Sunday June 7th, 5pm – Also live-streamed on Facebook and YouTube

Sunday at 5pm will be our first in-person worship gathering since the shutdown 3 months ago.  It is important we do this prayer service, but it is important we do it safely.  If you plan to attend, please be advised that only 25 persons will be permitted in the garden and there is room for some to be in cars.  If in the garden or out of your car, you must wear a mask and keep at least 6 feet distant from others.  Seating in the garden will keep people 6 feet apart.
This is BYOB — “Bring Your Own Bulletin” — though we will have a few hard copies available — it is really better if you are able to print and bring your own, or view it on your device. The bulletin with worship texts is attached.  This will be a service where we will all pray — so you will need the bulletin for the words to the prayers.
Finally — even if you know the songs our soloist is singing. YOU MUST NOT sing.  At present this is not permitted, even if you are wearing a mask.  Our soloist will be positioned 30 feet from anyone who he is not domiciled with.
Join us outside the church or watch live on Facebook, YouTube or by dialing in:
301 715 8592 or 646 558 8656  Meeting ID: 814 0570 0965.
Please be in prayer for our country in these trying times.

We encourage everyone to seek the Lord in prayer:

  • Asking that justice and mercy be poured out in our country in these difficult times.
  • For the family of George Floyd in their time of sorrow.
  • For genuine racial reconciliation and healing in these deeply divisive times.
  • For all persons who serve the public good as members of the police.

We encourage everyone to place their trust and their hope in the Lord Jesus Christ for the love and unity that we seek.

Amos 5:24  “Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.”

Jeremiah 29:7 “Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.”

Matthew 25:40 “Jesus said, ‘Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.’”
